Rajeshwari Hariharan is the founder of Rajeshwari & Associates, a full service law firm based at New Delhi (India), specializing in the field of Intellectual Property including Patents & Designs, Trade Mark, Copyright, Plant Variety Registration, Geographical Indicators, besides other regulatory and allied areas.

After completing her Master’s Degree in Biotechnology and Bachelor’s Degree in Law, she was admitted to the Bar in 1993 and practiced as an advocate before the courts in Pune as well as the High Courts at Delhi and Bombay.

Ms. Rajeshwari led the patent litigation practice and played a key role in managing and growing the patents team in a reputed and leading Delhi-based law firm. She parted as an equity partner from the firm after almost 14 years, to set up Rajeshwari & Associates.

With over 20 years experience in legal practice, Ms. Rajeshwari’s areas of practice include counseling on issues relating to patent and infringement including rendering patentability opinions, drafting technology transfer and know-how agreements, licences, assignments; prosecution of patent applications in the field of pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and biochemistry.

Ms. Rajeshwari was an active member of the legal team engaged for advising on issues related to reform initiatives in India. She has also advised clients on various aspects of Foreign Direct Investments, entry strategies, structuring of investments and acquisitions, drafting and negotiating of contract documents, as well as advised several clients on diverse high value and precedent-setting dispute resolutions.

She has rich experience in carrying out due diligence and handing of patent oppositions, revocations and appeals before the Patent Office and other higher for authorities. Currently, she handles patent and other litigations at the Supreme Court of India and various High Courts across India.

Asish is a Partner at the firm and practices in the areas of general
corporate, M&A and regulatory. Based in Mumbai and with more
than 10 years of experience, Asish has rich experience in advising
various domestic and multinational companies in restructuring, M&A,
regulatory, GST and commercial dispute resolution matters. Asish
advises clients on general corporate advisory matters and has worked
on various transactions and matters pertaining to M&A, corporate
restructuring, investment, FEMA, payment regulations and real estate
including carrying out due diligence, drafting and negotiating
transaction documents. He specialises in dealing with clients from digital and e-commerce space and
with the online gaming industry. He has also advised clients in setting up crypto exchanges,
NFT Marketplace, tokenisation.
Asish has been associated with the firm since 2010 and started his career as a litigation lawyer. He
was a part of the knowledge team that worked with Infosys for GST Project. He has assisted various
clients with GST impact assessment and implementation. He has done notable transactions in
relation to transition, supply chain, re-modelling, and business transformation and anti-profiteering
assignments. Asish was initially a part of the service tax team of the firm and advised various leading
companies on issues related to service tax like taxability, classification, exemption, and credit

A postgraduate in Electronic Engineering and a TEDx speaker, Dinesh has rich industry
experience spanning more than 30 years. Having started his career with Tata Group, he
worked his way to become the CEO of Mahindra Special Services Group [MSSG].
Mr. Pillai has more than 20 years of experience in the security and risk consulting domain.
He has immense knowledge and experience in Cyber Security, Information Security,
Business Continuity, GDPR, Physical Security, Digital Forensics, and Fraud Investigations
Management. Dinesh has extensive work experience in the Cyber and Information
Security Domain, including advising and approving IT networks and Cyber Security
systems. He has been instrumental in creating, implementing, and maintaining cyber &
information security policies, controls, and incident response plans for several
organizations and has advised several boards and senior management on compliance
related to the changing laws and regulations. His team has executed more than 250
projects of varying complexities of Cyber and Information Security.
Along with this, he has also completed at least 150+ projects related to fraud and forensics.
His clientele includes Tata Group, Aditya Birla Group, Godrej Group, Bombay Dyeing
Group, Arvind Group, P&O Ports, Piramal Group, RPG, HUL, Mondeliez, UB Group, SAP,

Cyber Security headed by Deputy NSA, India, CII National Committee on Telecom and
Broadband, and ASSOCHAM National Council on Cyber Security.
He was the Chairman of the Safety and Security Committee of the Bombay Chamber of
Commerce and Industry in 2010, which addressed the security issues in Mumbai post the
terrorist attacks.
He is currently a member of the CII, BCCI, FICCI, and ASSOCHAM, actively participating in
events and projects in India and abroad.
