Ged has been with the European Patent Office (EPO) in Munich for over 30 years. His role involves coordinating international cooperation with India, managing EPO activities related to global patent systems, and overseeing developments in "Industry 4.0 / Internet of Things" and Artificial Intelligence. He also engages with standards organizations and the European Commission. Ged's expertise lies in biochemistry engineering, human-computer interaction, patent examination, and public policy issues.
