After graduating from the Department of Physics at Yıldız Technical University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Leyla Türker Şener completed her master's and doctoral degrees at Istanbul University Istanbul Medical Faculty, Department of Biophysics.

Dr. Şener, who is the General Manager of TETFİT, has works and products in the fields of wearable technologies, IoT, virtual reality systems, robotic systems, and artificial intelligence. She provides consultancy to companies, mentor support, and services for protecting intellectual property rights, as well as corporate identity establishment.

As the Founder and Director of the Istanbul University 3D Medical and Industrial Design Laboratory, VR Laboratory, and TETLAB Idea Factory, which were established with the support of the Istanbul Development Agency, Dr. Şener has supported over 300 patent applications and the establishment of 30 companies since 2015. She is one of the three Turkish women inventors who participated in the Korean Women Inventors Exhibition and has 27 patent applications. These patents have been awarded numerous international medals, including the Korean Patent Office Gold Medal, WIPO Gold Medal, WIPO Academic Gold Medal, Taiwan Gold Medal, and Lebanon Gold Medal.
