Deepak primarily handles all aspects of enforcement of trade marks. He advises clients on issues relating to IPR due diligence and trade mark clearance searches as well as issues pertaining to protection of trade marks on the internet and domain names. Deepak’s practice also comprises rendering advice on issues of copyright protection including those relating to the internet and the entertainment industry. In connection with enforcement of trade marks and copyright, he regularly appears before the Trade Marks Office, the Intellectual Property Appellate Board, various District and High Courts as well as the Supreme Court of India. Prior to joining the firm, Deepak worked as a trade mark and copyright litigator with a prominent IPR firm in New Delhi.
