Alan is an experienced patent lawyer with expertise in domestic and international patent law. He handles patent litigation, provides opinions on patentability, validity, and infringement, and offers counsel on licensing, proprietary rights, contracts, and export control. Alan advises clients in various technology sectors, including electrical, semiconductor, network, software/computer-based, and mechanical technologies. He served as the Chief Patent Counsel for Communications Satellite Corporation and has previous experience as a Patent Examiner. Alan holds a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and is a member of several professional associations.
